I am a developer working with Ruby from an Internet connection usually located in South of France, but who knows ...

RubyOnRails and Sinatra are my main tools, with whatever needs to be added in each specific case. Everything from full apps to simple web services are what I do most often these days.

I am also working below deck designing, writing and maintaining different Ruby or shell powered tools, services and recipes.

In recent years, I've been writing articles about Ruby, Git and other bits for the French GNU/Linux Magazine.

What can I do for you ?

Even if I'm not in your corner of the world, I could be writing code and delivering it on time for your morning beverage. I'm always looking for something new or interesting to do.

Don't count on me for a top-notch design, but I can work with a designer and use their work. My main strengths are making the gears behind the design, and making sure those gears are deployed right.

How do I work ?

I rely on Git, GitHub, Campfire, Codeplane, and email for most of my everyday tasks. It is no mystery that I don't do well in crowded places, but I enjoy working among fellow developers and designers.

Where to find more about me ?

You can get my resume on Zerply and a bigger, tastier resume on another side of my planet.

You can check out some of my work (past and present) on Github : /mcansky /Arbousier /Udot .

If you are interested I also happen to put small usually not important messages on twitter ( @mcansky and @sol_hosting ).

Am I available ?

Just give me a shout using Github , Twitter , or email (see my Zerply resume ), we will talk.
